What we do
At Uchaiya Foundation, we are committed to freeing street children and underprivileged families from lives marked by poverty, neglect, abuse, and vulnerability.
In Delhi alone, over 250,000 children are forced to survive on the streets, while millions live in slum conditions without access to clean water, proper nutrition, or basic healthcare. Many children suffer from hunger, diseases such as diarrhoea and skin infections, and are deprived of education and safety.
To survive, these children often:
- Scavenge in garbage dumps
- Beg on the streets
- Remain out of school
- Face high risks of abuse, exploitation, and child trafficking
Our Approach
We work collaboratively with dedicated individuals, communities, and organizations to bring sustainable change in their lives.
Our key focus areas include:
- 🏥 Healthcare & Nutrition – Ensuring access to medical care and proper nourishment
- 📚 Education – Bringing children into learning environments and supporting their growth
- 🛡️ Child Protection – Safeguarding children from abuse, exploitation, and trafficking
- ⚖️ Advocacy – Promoting access to government schemes and better public services
